San Fran
I believe that the Lord is clearly directing me to the city and to antichrist events. I have the support of the eldership of my fellowship and have bathed myself in prayer for His guiding in this ministry that has been entrusted to me. My goal is to be in the precise place that the Holy Spirit wants me to be. Today me and the crew went to the usual spots in the city. We park in a small lot on "mission" street. It's probably the best lot in the city because the workers that maintain the lot are christian. Are foot travel to our pulpit is littered with drugged and insane people. Many of whom pee right there on the sidewalk, so extreme caution is needed. WE have three favorite spots..the trolly-this spot is our congregation. We are able to usually get a full 20 minute sermon out to a crowd of a few hundred before they are whisked off by the cable car never to be seen again. not to mention the thousands of people who catch a soundbite of the message as they pass by. The other spots our places of "pleading". Your are just preaching from your heart and expressing the desire of the Lord for them to be in His Kingdom. I pray that the Lord will continue to lead me in the proclamation of the gospel. JIm

San Fran 4-09
This afternoon we hit the streets of San Fran in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We did open air preaching, tract distribution, and one-to-one conversations. This day i rebuked the false teachers from family radio, and listened to the crazy no-sex if your a christian guy. I also spoke to jose(the Jesus loves you guy)about the importance of being in church. He told me that he is no longer the christian he once was..he no longer goes to church, reads his bible, or shares the gospel. He has no intentions of changing either. His only plan is to hold his sign that says 'Jesus love you.' I was urging him that this is not a biblical christian, yet he says that he will not argue or listen. So be it. After a discussion with the eldership at my church I sense the Lord clearly directing me to preach solely in the city and at antichrist type events. amen. Jim

SRJC week 2
Today was a nice sunny day to proclaim the gospel. Carlin and myself preached from elliot ave for about 2 hours today. Carlin's dad Monte was off in the distance covering us in prayer. I only preached twice, and one particular preach i truly enjoyed. I did a exposition through the gospel of John..the evangelistical centered gospel. I met a few people briefly, and also a old atheist adversary brought before me a seeming contradiction on the account of the crucifixion. Also met a young christian named James. May the Lord bless our labor.

SRJC Semester 3
Today I embarked on my 3rd missionary journey to the SRJC campus. In 3rd, I mean third semester. I continue to see the need and urgency to get the gospel to the ears of the rebellious. I know that apart from hearing the word of Christ that they have no faith. So today for about two hours a partner and I labored in the preaching of the gospel open-air style. We managed several conversations in which a few were invited to fellowship. I saw many from last semester including Matt, who today, held his sign saying"no god." I introduced myself to the intervarsity crew asking for prayer, and also encouraged the Gideon guys who were handing out bibles. Also, Eric Thompson that atheist professor blasphemed the Lord with joy...may the Lord reward him for his sin(but I shall continue to pray for him). My goal this semester is to remain faithful to the ministry that has been entrusted to me..to preach the gospel of JESUS CHRIST.

To proclaim Christ on campus
My heart is truly burdened for the lost souls on the college campuses. I was once one of them, and I remember it being all about me..my life..my goals..and the verse that comes to mind is..'what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world, but lose his own soul.' This leads me to action..to go and proclaim the everlasting gospel to these students. I'm a man who truly believes that the Word of God is the most powerful weapon we have..my desire is to share it with all. This semester my goal is to preach the gospel at SRJC, SFSU, and Berkely. I pray that the Lord will raise up for me a partner committed to the proclamation of the gospel. Jim
