Cool stories

We have been praying that the Lord would confirm our ministry more and more. Interestingly, last week a man met us in San Fran and told us that the Holy Spirit revealed to him in a dream that two men would be preaching at the cable car the next day. He was told to stay with these two men..we were those men. This man labored with us for about two hours..he was sent to encourage and confirm the gospel. Today at the SRJC there was a heckler passing through a crowd of people yelling "shut up, shut up, shut...." and then all of a sudden the glass bottle he was holding fell out of his hand and shattered on the ground. He was immediately silenced and I praised God. THe Lord is working in a most interesting way in our midst, and our prayer is for Him to use us to proclaim CHRIST to all the world! By the way we are preaching the gospel twice a week at the Santa Rosa Junior College and once a week in San Fran. Pray that the Lord will continue to open doors for us to proclaim His victory!

The mission continues

We are currently preaching the Gospel at the Santa Rosa Junior College twice a week. Also, we are preaching in downtown San Fran on Saturdays. I thank God that HE has blessed me with a faithful laborer each particular day. We also have a one night a week that we are seeking the Lord together in regards to the ministry He's given us. We urge you to labor with us in earnest prayer! Remember...the harvest is plentiful!

Godly Repentance

We have been plowing the soil of the heart of man at the Santa Rosa Junior COllege for the past month. Typically we encounter hostility from nonbelievers, and yes, the occassional professing christian. I would like to point out this particular story because I believe it points out what Godly repentance is, and also demonstrates that the Spirit of God is at work in our midst. About two weeks ago a man very assuredly asserted that we were pushing people away from God by our method of sharing the gospel. He didn't like our outloud preachin and clear presentation of the wrath of GOd. He, like many professing christians, thought it not right to tell people about sin and hell. I shared my biblical reasons for preaching and he left unconvinced. Last week the same man came up to me while I was preaching. He told me that when he was in class that something didn't sit right with him about our encounter. He opened the bible and the first thing that hit him was not to prevent those who are preaching the word. He told me that GOD convicted him! This man then stuck out his hand and encouraged me to keep doing the will of GOD! THis is Godly repentance...led by the HOLY SPIRIT! Not only did the Lord show me how the Spirit convicts, but also demonstrated His approval of our ministry unto Him.
